Cove Cottage, Double Cove in the Marlborough Sounds offers a peaceful retreat, a chance to unwind, read, take a swim, paint, or write your novel – what ever you would like to do. With a back drop of native New Zealand bush, you can hear tuis and bellbirds as well as shags and other sea birds. On three sides the house is surrounded by water – it is sometimes possible to spot seals, little blue penguins or even dolphins. A winding path takes you to the waterfront where there is a boatshed and a jetty, a place to sit near the water and if you are feeling more energetic there are kayaks and a row boat. The self-contained cottage has decks from which you can see stunning sunsets and sip Marlborough wine eat alfresco meals and simply relax.
